Juicer Maintenance
A little routine maintenance goes a long way. Staying consistent with a few simple checks helps your press run smoothly, protects key components, and keeps small issues from turning into bigger ones. If you’re using your machine regularly, this becomes part of your normal rhythm — not a separate task.
Before You Start
- Power off and unplug the machine - stay safe!
- Have your tools ready, all basic maintenance tools are in your toolbag (don't have a toolbag? Purchase one here!)
Daily Checks
Quick checks as you’re working or cleaning:
- Confirm the blade hub is installed securely and at the appropriate distance
- Watch and listen for anything unusual — noise, vibration, or movement
- Check for oil where it shouldn’t be
- Make sure components are seated correctly after cleaning
Weekly Checks
A little more intentional, add to your daily routine once a week:
- Inspect the shredder blade and note shredding performance
- Check around the cylinder rods and surrounding areas for buildup
- Look over press bags and boards during cleaning
- Make sure bolts and fittings are snug (not over-tightened)
Monthly Checks
Take a few extra minutes to look things over more thoroughly:
- Inspect shredder blades for wear or dullness
- Check press boards for cracks, wear, or uneven surfaces
- Look at press bags for stretching, thinning, or breakdown
- Confirm key components are secure and properly installed
- Check hydraulic fittings and connections for any signs of loosening or leaks
