Before You Start Cleaning

Before jumping in, set yourself up right:

  • Power off and unplug the machine
  • Avoid high-pressure water, especially near electrical components
  • Stick with foodsafe cleaners (alkaline cleaner + sanitizer)
  • Have your tools ready: brushes, towels, spray bottles, soak bin
How this works day-to-day:
  • Cleaning is done after juicing to reset the machine
  • Sanitizing is done right before juicing

Daily Cleaning Routine

This is your after-production reset. Done consistently, it keeps cleanup manageable and helps protect the machine over time.

1. Remove leftover pulp
Clear out as much material as possible before introducing water.

2. Disassemble key parts
Remove the parts that contact juice or pulp and place them in a soak.

3. Wash the machine
Clean the main food-contact areas, including:

  • Shredder housing
  • Press area and platens
  • Juice pan and drainage areas

4. Rinse thoroughly
Make sure juice and produce debris is fully rinsed away.

5. Apply alkaline cleaner
Coat the entire machine's stainless surfaces.

6. Clean and reassemble parts
Finish cleaning soaked parts, rinse, and reassemble properly.

#Pro Tip: Soak removable parts while you wipe down the machine to cut cleanup time.

Weekly Routine

A little extra attention here helps prevent bigger problems later. Add the following to your daily routine once a week:

  • Clean behind the blade hub
  • Remove and clean under the cylinder cover
  • Check and clean around the juice valve
  • Inspect the blade holder screw

#Pro Tip: A quick inspection now usually prevents unexpected downtime later.

Monthly Deep Cleaning

This is your more thorough reset:

  • Fully remove and reinstall the blade hub
  • Inspect shredder blades for wear
  • Check press boards for cracks or wear
  • Inspect press bags for stretching or breakdown
  • Look over juice flow components for buildup
#Pro Tip: Keep a spare set of press bags so used bags don't interrupt production.

Press Bag Cleaning & Care

Press bags do a lot of heavy lifting — keeping them clean and in good shape makes a big difference in both performance and workflow.

  • CLEANING + DRYING

    • Empty bags immediately after use

    • Rinse inside and out

    • Wash by hand or machine using appropriate detergent

    • Use warm to “hottish” water (not too hot to touch)

    • Air dry or tumble dry with some heat to help release fibers and reshape

    • Make sure bags are fully dry before storing

  • BEST PRACTICES

    • Keep a full extra set of bags for rotation


    • Use different bags for each juice color to prevent color staining and oxidation


    • Start with a coarse bag, then filter further if needed


    • Use food-safe cleaner or fragrance-free laundry soap as needed

  • REPAIRS + LONGEVITY

    • Avoid letting pulp dry into the fabric


    • Avoid bleach, harsh chemicals, or sharp tools


    • Small tears can often be repaired (keep a sewing kit nearby)


    • Replace bags when wear begins affecting performance, around 3000 pounds of produce juiced
